  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Sam Bass Sam Bass, 74, of Anna died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 1991 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born on August 13, 1917, in St. Louis, the son of Isadore and Rose Levin Bass. He is survived by his wife, Jean of Anna; one son and daughter -in-law, Moury and Nancy Bass of Anna; one brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Betty Bass of Anna; two sisters, Helen Rozinski of St. Louis and Ada Falkoff and her husband, Edward Falkoff of East Prairie, MO. Brothers-in-law Charles and Doris Bass, Harold and Barbara bass, and a sister-in-law, Helen Bass; three grandchildren, Kyle, Kent and Keith Bass, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bass had operated 'Bass' Fashions in Anna since 1950. he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro and was a World War II veteran. he served in the Army Air Corps. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with Dr. Jerry Ford, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, officiating. Interment was in Anna cemetery.
