Mrs. Priscilla Bass

Priscilla Bass departed this life on March 15, 2018 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, TN. She was born on January 7, 1950 in Bryson, TN to the late Erastus and Katie McClaurine Bass.
Priscilla accepted Christ in 1996 and joined Blanche Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a member of the choir and on the kitchen committee.
Priscilla had a quiet, sweet spirit; however, she was very observant and was an excellent listener. She enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers, plants and cooking for her family.
Priscilla graduated from Elkton High School and was employed by Gabriel Ride Control until she retired. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Quentin Bass; two sisters, Dorothy Harney and Margaret Beavers; and one brother, Robert (Pete) Bass.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Martina Diggs and grandson, Samuel Diggs II, both of Chesapeake, VA; brothers, Thomas Bass, Larry (Margie) Bass and Malloy Bass, all of Elkton, TN; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be truly missed by her family and friends, and dear friend, Mary Bledsoe.
Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Farmers Indian Creek Tabernacle, (131 Baugh Road Elkton, TN 38455) with Pastor Larry Lockett officiating. Interment will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Pulaski, TN. Mrs. Priscilla Bass will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8 p.m Tuesday, March 20, 2018 and 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Royal Funeral Home.
