Doris Jamison Bass
Doris Jamison Bass, 93, of Memphis, formerly of Tupelo, Miss., homemaker, died of congestive heart failure Wednesday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors in Tupelo with burial in Tupelo Memorial Park. She was a member of Tupelo First United Methodist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and Tupelo Garden Club. Mrs. Bass, the widow of Richmond D. Bass, leaves two daughters, Jenny Marie ?Dee? Loughlin of Pitman, N.J., and Linda Henderson of Baton Rouge; a son, Richmond C. Bass Jr. of Olive Branch; a brother, Merle T. Jamison of Texarkana, Texas, nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, any memorials be made to Tupelo First United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor?s choice.
