She is survived by her daughter, Ethel Bassett, of Walton; granddaughter M. Yul (Flor) Miyabi; three brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bassett, Dec. 25, 2000. A funeral service was held April 16 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Rowland Heights, Calif. A memorial service will be held May 9 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Sanctuary in Portland.
