Bassett Rites
Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Bassett, 63, Dover, resident, who died at 12:20 a.m. Sunday at the Tuscarawas Valley Sanatorium of complications following a 17-year illness, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Linn-Hert Co. Funeral Home.
Rev. John Scott and Rev. J. D. Poole will officiate, and burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Dover.
Mrs. Bassett was born Jan. 31, 1888 near Winfield, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Patton Carnathan. Her husband, the late William Bassett, died in 1947. She was a member of the West High Avenue Church of Christ and at one time was employed in the Daily Times composing room.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. William Robb, 146 Front ave SW, this city. Three sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
