Johnson, Bass to wed in St. Joseph
John Jackson and Brenda Johnson-Jackson of Neweltton are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tamara S. Johnson to Nolen F. Bass Jr.
The wedding will take place on Sunday, July 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the Flowery Mount Baptist Church on Hwy 128 in St. Joseph, LA.
The reception will follow at 4 p.m. at the St. Joseph Community House on Levee Street in St. Joseph.
The bride elect is also the granddaughter of Loui Ida Jackson, Winnie Bureon and the late Allen Burdon, and Steve Cephus, Sr. She is employed by the Tensas Parish Detention Center in Newellton, LA.
The groom is the son of Nolen Bass, Sr., and Martha Watson-Bass and grandson of Alex Watson, Sr. and the late Ambrose Bass Sr., Mary Teate Bass and Alberta Skinner Watson. He is also employed by the Tensas Parish Detention Center.
The couple’s future plans are to continue to reside in Newellton. All family and friends are invited to share in this joyous occasion.
