Sarah E. Bassett
Sarah E. Bassett, 86, of 1685 Pleasant St., a trimmer at the Fall River Knitting Mills before retiring 20 years ago, died yesterday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Henry Bassett.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Sarah (Cole) Ollis.
Mrs. Bassett was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.
She leaves two sisters, Winifred O. Danis and Mildred D. Partington, both of Fall River.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the Jeffrey E. Sullivan Funeral Home, 550 Locust St., with a funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Thomas Street, at 9. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
