Mary K. Metzdorf Bass
Mary K. Bass, 78, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
She was born on March 6, 1931, in St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys Yolks Metzdorf.
She grew up in White Bear Lake and Mahtomedi, Minnesota and was a bank teller for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite thing in life was having all of her children and grandchildren with her. She loved cross-word puzzles, bowling and dancing. She attended Christ The King Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. "Sonny" Bass, and four brothers.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas A. Bass of Little Rock, Pete and Missy Bass of Bryant, and Michael and Gina Bass of Little Rock; three daughters, Cathy and Ross Holzhauer, Debbie and DeWaine Duncan, and Mary Pat Bass, all of Little Rock; nine grandchildren, Robby Taylor, Ricky Taylor, Ashley Allison, Rileigh Duncan, Nikki Duncan, Hunter Duncan, Ryan Bass, Lauren Bass and Brooke Bass; four great-grandchildren, Landon Allison, Robert Taylor, Jr., Hallie Allison, and Sydney Allison; and a host of other family and friends.
Interment was at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Allison, Robby Taylor, Ricky Taylor, Ross Holzhauer, Ryan Bass, Hunter Duncan, Landon Allison, and Robert Taylor, Jr.
