Carl “Sandy” Savino Jr. (Picture included)
Carl (Sandy) Savino, Jr. Sandy Savino was born April 29, 1945 in Beaumont, Texas to Carl and Louise (Alford) Savino and passed away on October 31, 2010 at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandra Huddler. Sandy is survived by his wife, Lulu Savino, the love of his life for thirty seven years. He is also survived by his son, Kenny Savino and daughter Michele Bassett (Randy); grandchildren Shelby, Ryan and Reed Bassett all of Austin, Texas; and kitties (Silly Girl, Bitsy, Blanca, Shadow and Chulo). Honorary pallbearers are Randy Bassett, Moises P. Rivera Jr., Juan Rivera, Gooley Rivera, Rick Rivera, Abel Hinojosa, Thomas Kendrick, Kenneth Young, Willie Hagar, Irv Liebling, and Mickey Amacker. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2010 and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, Anderson Mill Road, Austin, Texas.
