Betro Clyde Bass, aged 61, of Smackover, a pumper for McFarlane Oil Company, died Sunday. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Capt. Billy Bass of California and Eugene W. Bass of Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Billy Ed Heffington of Louisiana, and six brothers, W.H. Vernon and R.A. Bass of Columbia, Coy Bass of Louisiana, O.H. Bass of California and Bruce Bass of Florida. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church at Smackover. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Young Funeral Service.
