Burdette Bassett
Burdette (Bud) Bassett, 47, of Muskegon and a former summer resident died Saturday at Mercy Hospital.
Mr. Bassett was born Dec. 19, 1928, and has lived in Muskegon all of his life.
He was employed at Anaconda Corp. as a machine operator.
He was married to the former Jacqueline Davison< oct. 3, 1959, in Muskegon. She survived.
Also surviving are three sons, Steven Palmer of Muskegon Hts., Bart and Todd, both at home; and a daughter Cindy, at home.
He spent many summers at his summer cabin in the Scottville area.
The funeral for Mr. Bassett will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Lee Funeral Home in Muskegon.
