Mr. Bass, the widower of Pauline Hughes Bass, leaves three sons, James Ronald Bass of Oakland, Tennessee, Gary Bass of Memphis and Barry Bass of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Edith Bass of Walnut and Omega 'Tootsie' Swindle of Corinth, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
