  Notes	The Gainesville Sun, Florida, Wednesday, October 13, 1999 L.J. Bass BELL - L.J. Bass, a lifelong resident of Bell, died Monday at the Hospice House of Gainesville. He was 67. Mr. Bass was a retired tree surgeon and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Bell. He was preceded in death by a son, John Bass. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Bass of Bell; two daughters, Patricia Marzloff of Mayo and Virginia Bass of Bell; a son, Kenneth Bass of Bell; a half-sister, Myrna Spencer of Ocala; and eight grandchildren.
