  Notes	Daily Capital News, Missouri, April 2, 1970 Mrs. Bass, 83, of Ulman, dies Mrs. Leftie M. Bass, 83, of Ulman, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Bass was born Nov. 9 1886 at Ulman, the daughter of Jessie and Alcena Burks. She was married Nov. 14, 1906 to Charles B. Bass, who died Feb. 8, 1956. Mrs. Bass was a member of the Christian Church in Ulman and a member of of the Royal Neighbors of America. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Barnett, Kansas City; one son, Emil Bass, Ulman; three sisters, Mrs. Josie Nivdorf, Ulman, Mrs. Tracy McDonald and Mrs. Dorothy Burris, both of Eldon; one grandson and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Christian Church in Ulman, Rev. Raymond Bond will officiate. Burial will be in the Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia. Walter Hodges Funeral Home, Drumley, is in charge of arrangements.
