Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bass celebrate Colden Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. John M. Bass, former resident of this city, observed their golden wedding Tuesday by greeting old friends in Kinmundy. They held open house and greeted friends Sunday afternoon in the home of their daughter, Mrs. Lee Miller, in Normal. Their home is 714 ½ W. Chestnut St., Bloomington.
They were accompanied here Tuesday by their children, Mrs. Lee Miller, of Norma, and Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Brook, Goshen, Ind.
Miss Raddie Howell, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Howell, and John Bass, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bass, Sr., all of Kinmundy, were married August 6, 1907, at Kinmundy by the late Rev. John Balance. They lived in this community until 22 years ago when they moved to Bloomington and have since resided.
Their children are Mrs. Helen Brooks, Goshen, Ind., Raymond, of South Bend, Ind., Mrs. Alice Miller, Normal, and Mrs. Dorothy Price, Bloomington.
