  Notes	The Portsmouth Star, Virginia, Sunday, 1 January 1928 Mrs. Redora Bass Mrs. Redora Bass, 68, widow of the late E.N. Bass and daughter of the late James M. Bass and Mrs. Lizzie Bass died yesterday morning at her home in Yadkin. Mrs. Bass who was a member of the Indiana Methodist Church is survived by four sons, Winford Bass, of Yadkin; James G. Bass, of Baltimore; Alec Bass, of Petersburg and Ashton Bass of Norfolk; three daughters, Mrs. J.R. Winborne, Mrs. E.O. Strickland and Mrs. Blanche Roberts, all of Norfolk; and fourteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at a time and place to be announced later. The Portsmouth Star, Virginia, Monday, 2 January 1928 Mrs. Redora Bass Funeral services for Mrs. Redora Bass, who died Saturday, will conducted this afternoon at 2 o?clock from the residence in Yadkin, Norfolk County. Interment was in the family burial ground in Yadkin.
