IRVING-BASSETT
Married at 8 o?clock Saturday evening, September 24, 1921, at the parsonage of Kumler Methodist church, Rev. Wilbert Dowson, pastor, officiating, James T .Irving, 1159 North Eighth street, and Romia Bassett, 1204 South Fifteenth street.
Phil Irving and Irene Thomas attended the couple.

Stricken on Street, Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Romia Irving, 56, of Williamsville, was dead on arrival at 10:14 a.m. yesterday at Memorial Hospital where she was taken by the Kirlin & Egan ambulance after becoming ill at 5th and Adams streets and collapsing. She had been under a physician?s care.
Mrs. Irving was a member of the Williamsville Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 1013, at Williamsville.
She is survived by her husband, James; son, Lawrence, of Springfield; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Parmer, Champaign; Mrs. Alma Margo, Agnos, Ark.; two brothers, Henry Bassett, Agnos, Ark., and Jules Bassett, California.
The body is at the Mott & Son Funeral Home, Athens. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Williamsville Methodist Church with Rev. Jonathan Drake officiating. Burial will be Walnut Hill Cemetery, Williamsville.
