G. H. in Gainesville after an brief illness. She was born in Bell. She lived most of her life in Brooker. She was the daughter of the late Myles M. Bass and Susie Jane Calhoun Bass. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam B. Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lacrosse Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 Daughters: Mary Willingham and Carol Lee Jones both of Brooker. 6 Grandchildren, 8 Greatgrandchildren and 3 Great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 1100 A.M. in the Brooker Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Cm Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Dedan Cemetery under the care of ARCHER FUNERAL HOME of Lake Butler. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
