Mrs. H.D. Bass Is Dead After A Long Illness
Mrs. Harvey D. Bass, 42, of Banks, died today (Thursday) at 5:45 a.m., after a long illness at a Dothan hospital. Surviving are her husband, Harvey D. Bass, of Banks; one sister, Mrs. Reuben Harville, and two brothers, Theo and Bubb Barbaree, of Troy. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Barbaree, of Troy, and a host of other relatives.
Funeral will be held from the Bass home in Banks Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. G.W. Jones of Loachapoka officiating. Burial will be in the Griffin cemetery with McGehee-Jones in charge.
Active pall bearers will be: D. G. Dorrill, Dick Barr, Marcus Tew, Gerald Brantley, Kyle Brantley, Robert Henry Green, L.G. Bassett.
