(nee: Cain) Bass, 70, passed away at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center on Friday, March 27, 1998. Shirley was born on November 22, 1928, in Chicago, Ill. and had been a longtime resident of Racine and Casa Grande, Ariz. She married Floyd R. Bass of Wisconsin Dells and were together for 50 years. Survivors include her husband, Floyd R. Bass of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two sons, Thomas Bass of Racine and Michael Bass of New Hampshire; and three daughters, Clara Saltz, Penny Bass, both of Stevens Point, and Doreen Marshall of Austin, Texas. Shirley is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A Memorial service was held at Cole and Maude Funeral Home in Casa Grande, Ariz. on Monday, March 30, 1998. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the American Heart Association.
