Judy Bass
December 17, 1943 ? January 4, 2025
Judy was born in Bakersfield, California, to Gracian and Virginia (Sprague) Errea. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Steve Bass.
Judy graduated from Bakersfield High School in the Class of 1961 before attending Long Beach State. She had a fulfilling career as an elementary school teacher, serving the Bakersfield City School District and the Panama Buena Vista Union School District before retiring in 2004.
Judy and Steve were married on August 28, 1964, and shared nearly 58 wonderful years together until Steve's passing in 2022.
She is survived by her sons, Greg and Brian Bass; Brian's wife, Allison; and her beloved grand-dog, Ruby.
Judy was passionate about travel, particularly cruising with Steve, family, and friends. She also cherished visits to the Basque Country and exploring her Basque heritage.
Judy passed peacefully in her sleep. At her request, there will be no services.
