Patricia Lynn Bass
Patricia Lynn Bass, age 62, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 7, 2006.
She left behind her loving husband, Philip Raymond Bass, retired from the Sherman Police Department, and her four children that she loved dearly: Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Ramazini, Raymond Matthew Bass, Beverly Christine "Crissy" Collins and Brian Christopher Bass (twins), all Sherman High School graduates.
She is also survived by her mother, Beverly Glade; brother, Edward Glade; and an uncle, Thomas Gaffney. She has seven grandchildren with Chrissie Collins expecting triplets.
Patricia was very educated. She took multiple courses in childcare and computer science, and she also taught computer science. She could paint, knit and do extraordinary crafts. She also taught nutritional health cases.
She was a caring, loving and giving person. She owned and supervised Tiny Tots Infant Day Care for many years. Patricia also leaves behind Betty and Doyle Black her adopted brother and sister, as well as many loving friends, including Ralph and Elaine Mosley.
Pat will be greatly missed by her husband and family, along with a multitude of loving friends. She went to great extremes to help anyone who came to her for help. Pat was a devoted member of Harvest Time Assembly of God Church and Weight Watchers, when it was originally organized at St. Stephen's. She loved to read the Bible, talk about the Lord, and witness at every opportunity she could.
The main desire of her life was to have her family and friends accept Jesus Christ as their Savior so that one day we would be reunited with her in Heaven.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Harvest Time Assembly of God, Hwy. 1417, in Sherman with Pastor Zachary Miller officiating.
The family wishes to show their gratitude to the Sherman Fire Department's ambulance crew for the loving care they extended to Patricia for her last trip to the hospital.
The world is a better place because she was here.
