Mrs. Bertha Bass

Mrs. Bertha Holsenback Bass, of 2136 Richards Road, died Monday, March 8, 1993, at University Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fleming Baptist Church, with the Rev. William T. Hammond officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bass, a native of Bradley, S.C., was a homemaker. A resident of Augusta since 1950, she was a member of Fleming Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher ofr 35 to 40 years and was a member of the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Arlie M. Bass; three daughters, Sandra Bass Jennings, Evans, Joy Bass Braswell, Hephzibah, and CIny Bass Kucela, Martinez;a son, James David Bass, Augusta; a sister, Margaret Webb, Fayetteville; two brothers, Milton Holsenback and Hughey Holsenback, both of Greenwood, S.C., and five grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the church choir.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Poteet Funeral Home, Windsor Spring Road.
