She was born Aug. 16, 1934 in Mulberry to Edith Johnson Krammes of Mulberry and the late David Krammes. On Jan. 24, 1954, she married Gene Bass in Mulberry, and he survives. Also surviving are a son, Jeff Bass (wife: Ramona) of Delphi; a daughter, Kathleen Blankenship of Moulton, Alabama; three sisters, Kay Roberts, Mary Ann Martin and Debra Ayres, all of Mulberry; 6 grandchildren, Jordan and Whitney Bass, Kelsey, Kierstan, Kaitlyn and Karlie Blankenship and 3 great-grandchildren.
