Florence Bass
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - A memorial service for Florence Bass, 77, will be held today, Sept. 19, 2007, San Antonio with burial on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, in Kilgore, Texas.
She died Sept. 15, 2007, at her home in San Antonio.
She was born Aug. 9, 1930, in Homer, La. She attended Kilgore Junior College, where she was a member of the famed Kilgore Rangerettes.
She married Robert W. Bass on June 17, 1950, in Kilgore.
She was a member of Northwood Presbyterian Church and the Texas Realtor Association.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Griffith and her husband of Casper; two sons, Bob Bass and his wife of Arlington, Texas and John Bass and his wife of San Antonio; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
