Anna Bessette
1934 - 2007
SPRINGFIELD - Ann Adele Sara (Misterly) Bessette, 73, of Springfield, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Richard and Claire (Barker) Misterly, she resided in Springfield all her life. Ann was a bookkeeper, for over 30 years, at Springfield Technical Community College, before retiring in 1998. She is survived by her four children, Roger Bessette and his wife, Marjorie, of Feeding Hills, Richard Bessette of Springfield, Norma Jean Hartman of Russell, and Susan Bessette of Springfield; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ann's funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Ave., followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. A period of visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-1:00 p.m., in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Ann's name may be made to the S.T.C.C. Foundation, 1 Armory Square, Springfield, MA 01105.
