LOUISE R. BASS, 97, passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. Born in Paducah, Ky., She was a homemaker and retired from Hallmark. Surviving are her daughters, Carol (Ron) Korte and Sharon (Tom) Staak, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Molly (JP) Specht, Doug Korte, Greg (Catie) Korte, and Allison (Dave) Dettore; and great-grand children, Ryan (Julie) Specht, Sarah (Pete) Tomczyk, Jessica and Hannah Specht, Ian, Travis and Christopher Korte, and Montana and Hope Dettore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; sisters, Wilma Holzderber, Catherine Gill and Mary Rosselot; and brothers, Robert, James, Jesse, and Marvin Ramage. Service is 2 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior to the service. The Rev. Lloyd Harlan officiating.
