Juanita Edwins Sorbet Bass
Juanita Edwina Sorbet Bass, 78, of 132 Twinbrook Drive, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Clover P. and Janie Lou Sorbet and the widow of W. Ray Bass. Mrs. Bass was a member of the Greenville Women's Club, Augusta Road Community Club, Daughters of the Nile, and the First Baptist Church of Greenville.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bruce Owen of Greenville; sister, Hazel S. Alexander of Atlanta, Ga.; a granddaughter, Bonnie Owen; and a grandson, Bruce Owen Jr., both of Greenville.
Services will be held in the Carpenter Chapel at First Baptist Church, Monday at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. in the church parlor. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 328 Furman Hall Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
